Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jurgen Wexler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roda Macron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jurgen Wexler had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Roda Macron has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jurgen Wexler's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wexler doesn't manage to clinch there - Macron circles away.
Wexler takes one to the side of the head.
Wexler throws a nice looking combination but Macron bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wexler misses with a takedown
and Macron counters with a left and a right that stings Wexler.
Horrible takedown attempt by Macron or perhaps it was just good defense by Wexler, which made it look bad.

and Macron moves into the clinch.
Wexler is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Wexler manages to break the clinch.
Macron tries to clinch there but Wexler circles away.
Wexler misses with a jab, cross combination.
Macron shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Wexler eats them both and turns towards Macron to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wexler takes a swing at Macron's ribcage but misses.
Wexler tries to clinch but Macron is having none of it.
Macron looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wexler.

Wexler lands with a nice combination. Macron backs away looking to recover.
Wexler goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wexler tries a head kick but it misses.
Wexler shoots in but Macron avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Wexler tries to move into range but Macron moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Jurgen Wexler has been cut.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jurgen Wexler.
