Hopkins drops his hands momentarily. McCall doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Hopkins staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Hopkins doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Cardoso's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Samba de Janeiro. Renato Cardoso had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!
