The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bin Laden blocks a head kick by Derkins.
Bin Laden tries to close the distance and clinch but Derkins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bin Laden wants to clinch up but Derkins keeps it at a distance.
Bin Laden blocks the body kick.
Bin Laden tries a head kick but it misses.
Derkins throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Bin Laden looks gassed!
Derkins scores with a push kick.
Derkins cracks the inside of Bin Laden's front leg.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bin Laden crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Derkins - the referee stops the clock and Bin Laden gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Derkins. Bin Laden manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

McRae lands an overhand right.
