Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alden Ho!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ho eats them both and turns towards Harris to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
No joy there for Harris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Harris works over Ho's head and body with a nice combination.
Harris throws a right and a left that Ho avoids nicely.
Harris tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Harris falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ho counters with a body kick.
Ho shoots for a takedown but Harris saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That kick from Harris tenderised Ho's leg. Ho is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nice takedown defense from Harris. No joy for Ho on that attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Harris scores with a punch to the head.
Harris lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Harris looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Ho shoots for a double leg takedown but Harris sprawls well. He's pushed Ho's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ho goes for a takedown attempt but Harris pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ho closes the distance and clinches up with Harris, looking for a takedown. Ho pushes Harris against the cage but Harris circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ho shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Harris as he avoids it easily.
Harris cracks a nice hook into Ho's ribs.
Harris scores with a sloppy right hand. Ho should have avoided that one.

Harris drives through and clinches with Ho against the cage.
Ho changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Harris fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Ho is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Harris.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Harris throws a front kick aimed at Ho's knee but Ho avoids it well.

Harris has managed to clinch.
Come on Harris - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Ho wants a takedown.

Harris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A nice combination there by Harris.
Harris is working the combinations to good effect here.

Ho shoots for a takedown but Harris saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Harris lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Ho sprawling to the canvas. Harris follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Ho hang on?

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ho can do anything to dispel that myth.
Harris stops Ho from getting back to his feet.
Ho is still in real trouble! Can Harris finish him?
Ho seems to have recovered his senses.
Ho is trying to maintain the position but Harris is very close to passing his half guard.
Harris is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Ho makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ho.
Harris is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ho can do to turn this around?
Ho is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Harris is controlling him.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Harris pushes Ho up against the cage in a clinch.

Ho wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harris keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Harris stands up and waves to Ho to follow him.
Ho shoots in but Harris avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ho fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Harris throws a series of strikes that have Ho backpedaling.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Harris pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ho back to the cage. Harris follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Harris scores with a body shot.
Harris lands with an uppercut that bounces Ho off the cage and back into range.
Harris cracks a nice hook into Ho's ribs.
Ho throws a wild hook but Harris just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Ho gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Harris raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Valakas shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fujiwara is trying to defend but Valakas finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Valakas is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fujiwara sees it coming and defends easily.

Fujiwara wants to stand but Valakas has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Fujiwara got a little sloppy there for a moment and Valakas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fujiwara has managed to get both his arms back between Valakas's legs - danger averted.

Fujiwara is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Valakas has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Fujiwara is looking to defend but Valakas has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Fujiwara! Valakas pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Fujiwara taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Fabricio Valakas!
After the fight, Fabricio Valakas was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Ruiz moves in looking to clinch but Gonista pushes him off.
Gonista definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Gonista lands a big head kick that sends Ruiz tumbling to the mat! Gonista takes a step backwards and waves Ruiz back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Oscar Ruiz has been cut.
Gonista throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Gonista throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ruiz throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gonista counters with a good low kick that Ruiz was not able to check.
Ruiz tries to close the distance and clinch but Gonista swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ruiz takes a kick to the side of the head.
Gonista bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ruiz stalks Gonista and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gonista's face. Gonista staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Anta Gonista has been cut.
Ruiz tries to clinch but Gonista moves out of range.
Gonista dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ruiz. That did some damage!
Ruiz wants to clinch up but Gonista keeps it at a distance.
Gonista connects with a solid leg kick.
Ruiz throws a nice looking combination but Gonista bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ruiz misses with the combination.
Gonista fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ruiz.
Ruiz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Gonista! Ruiz is out on his feet! Gonista rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Ruiz is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Ruiz is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

BOOM! Maurer lands a beautiful left hook that drops Grant. Grant tries to recover but Maurer is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Grant lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Sergio Maurer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Concepcion shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Adamek pinned against the cage. Adamek gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Adamek misses the shot to the body.

Adamek seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Concepcion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Adamek but Adamek pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The fight stays on the outside here - Daddy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dorsey tries to score with a low kick but Daddy moves his leg out of the way.

Daddy wants to clinch up but Dorsey keeps it at a distance.
Daddy throws a hook but Dorsey avoids it easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dorsey lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Daddy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Daddy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Marleau shoots in looking for a takedown but Dhamma manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Marleau's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Marleau dives in for a single leg takedown but Dhamma sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Marleau is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dhamma to keep the fight standing.
Yogi Dhamma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Marleau.

Dhamma gets control of Marleau's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dhamma will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Dhamma has his feet on Marleau's thighs here. He's pushed Marleau off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Marleau screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
