The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

BigBranch manages to get an easy takedown there - catching McClane on his heels. He'll look to pass McClane's guard now, I'm sure.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
BigBranch tries to pass the half guard into mount. McClane knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
McClane is doing well to control the position and prevent BigBranch from advancing to side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
BigBranch tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McClane paws at him with a jab and circles away.

BigBranch has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Haffaz Aladeen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Black Angels. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Sigit dives in and grabs Helix's left leg, looking for a takedown. Helix pushes down on Sigit's head and hops out.
