The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bjergsen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bjergsen shoots in for a takedown but Freire shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Freire moves into range and connects with a jab.
Freire scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Bjergsen is rocked!
Freire circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Bjergsen to the canvas! Bjergsen doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Freire keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

After the fight, Patricio Freire was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
