The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krejza is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mahuika's half guard.

Krejza takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Krejza got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mahuika has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Krejza has managed to get both his arms back between Mahuika's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mahuika is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Krejza is looking to control Mahuika's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Krejza avoid being mounted?

Mahuika looks to land a strike but Krejza avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Our spies down at at Weed Nation inform us that Krejza has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Krejza is trying to hold Mahuika in close to prevent damage but Mahuika has managed to pass into half guard.

Mahuika is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Krejza is just riding it out for now. Mahuika eventually gives up the hold.

Chestnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Twitch is trying to control the position but Chestnar postures up.

Harley Twitch's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Harley Twitch's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After the fight, Cok Chestnar was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Zapata gets to his feet and stands over Gor, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Gor felt that one! Zapata unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Gor from any more punishment!

Mack takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Windam throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Mack colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Windam as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Mack is left battered and dazed whilst Windam and his camp cheer!

It looks like Logan Addison has been cut.
Addison misses with a body shot.
And Nielsen tries to counter it with a takedown but Addison pushes his down on his head and steps out.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Nielsen has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Duris uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Leopoldo.

Duris throws a right and a left that both miss.
Duris lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Duris connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Duris keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Leopoldo throws a nice looking combination but Duris bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Leopoldo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Leopoldo's jab looks to have found its range, popping Duris under the eye.
Duris has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Leopoldo scores with a one two! Duris had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Duris throws a good cross that connects.

Duris cracks Leopoldo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Duris ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Leopoldo's jaw. Leopoldo's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Duris does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

We've been hearing reports that Edgar has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
