Surov controlling from the top position.

Onizuka is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Surov frees his head nicely. Oh but Onizuka has switched to an armbar! Surov is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Shinichi Onizuka!
Shinichi Onizuka is the new welterweight champion!
Our winner, Shinichi Onizuka, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
