The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tromaras throws a head kick that misses.
Brown darts in looking for a takedown but Tromaras gets double underhooks and turns Brown into the ropes.
We've been told by Tromaras's head coaches at Cozad Amsterdam that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Aaron Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tromaras tries to avoid it but Brown manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tromaras to the ground. Tromaras escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tromaras fails to land the takedown.
Brown tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tromaras defends well and Brown ends up having to push Tromaras into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
As Brown looks to move away, Tromaras throws a big counter combo bu Brown just gets out of the way.

Tromaras throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brown's waist but Brown gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tromaras off to one side.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Brown working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Toldiett is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by De Groot.
De Groot throws a hook to the side of Toldiett's head but Toldiett sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fighters circling - Toldiett throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

De Groot throws a right and a left that both miss.
It seemed like Toldiett was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
De Groot avoids the body shot from Toldiett.
De Groot swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Toldiett counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
De Groot misses with a jab, cross combination.
Toldiett scores with a crisp jab that stopped De Groot in his tracks.

It looks like Jan De Groot has been cut.

and Toldiett scores with a counter punch that sends De Groot to the canvas! Toldiett smells blood - he's punishing De Groot with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! De Groot has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Lajos Toldiett opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Robin Sir has been cut.
Sir with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ihejirika to score with a decent uppercut.
Sir tries to clinch there but Ihejirika circles away.
Ihejirika digs a good body shot into Sir's ribs.
Sir ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ihejirika moves away.

Ihejirika tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sir's elbow.
Sir goes for a takedown attempt but Ihejirika pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Ihejirika misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ihejirika throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sir wants to clinch.
Ihejirika swings for the body but Sir moves out of range.
Sir slips a straight right by Ihejirika.
As Ihejirika tries to get set, Sir tries to push him back and clinch up but Ihejirika manages to avoid the attempt.
Ihejirika falls off balance throwing a combination

and Sir counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Ihejirika!

Sir wants to control but Ihejirika is keeping him busy.
Ihejirika felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Ihejirika wants to improve his position but Sir is controlling well.
Sir content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Sir will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sir is looking to stall here but Ihejirika recovers full guard.

Ihejirika not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sir connects with a couple of short punches.
Ihejirika is trying to control the position but Sir postures up.
Sir throwing strikes but missing.
Sir content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Ihejirika is still in real trouble! Can Sir finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sir loads up on a big left hand. Ihejirika felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Sir looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Ihejirika can't hide his disappointment, as Sir celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robin Sir!
A determined Robin Sir didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
