Joseph Ale's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Mustard here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Mayham fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Maki takes the fight into the clinch.
Maki gets underhooks to prevent Mayham's takedown attempt.

Mayham wants the takedown. Maki is fighting it off but Mayham persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Maki's guard against the cage.

Maki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mayham. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mayham jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Maki is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Maki and Mayham has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Mayham is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Maki will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Mayham swings around for an armbar but Maki sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mayham's guard.

Mayham is looking to cinch up a triangle. Maki throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Mayham's body to avoid the submission. Mayham has instead reached around Maki's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Mayham arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
