The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quincy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Porter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Quincy pulls guard.
Quincy could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Quincy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Porter is trying to stand back up but Quincy is controlling him
Quincy wants to free his trapped foot but Porter is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Porter wants to get back to full guard.
Quincy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Porter's head.

Quincy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Porter is just riding it out for now. Quincy eventually gives up the hold.
Quincy uses his free foot to push down on Porter's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Porter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Porter looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Quincy! Submission of the night perhaps?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pozar is looking for a kimura but Dillinger is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pozar to get the leverage.
