The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Weaks moves into the clinch successfully.

Lord drags the fight down to the ground.
Weaks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lord swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lord keeping moving, preventing Weaks from controlling successfully.

Weaks drops back looking for a leg! Lord is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lord manages to kick Weaks off! Weaks jumps back into Lord's guard.
Weaks trying to control but Lord is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lord looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Weaks has picked Lord up and slammed him! Lord can't keep hold of the triangle and Weaks manages to pass to side control!

Weaks wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lord, who protects the arm well.

Weaks is looking to take a break and control but Lord is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Weaks is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lord is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Lord tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Weaks tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Weaks has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Weaks is trying to work for a kimura but Lord is defending well.
Lord should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Altudotis is trying to trip Brix. He has hold of a leg but Brix is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Altudotis persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Altudotis wants to pass the guard but Brix is keeping the position.
Brix is looking to sweep but instead, Altudotis has passed into half guard.

Altudotis is just content to waste time from the top position. Brix takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Brix escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Altudotis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Altudotis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brix does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Brix could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Altudotis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Altudotis is looking to advance position but Brix won't allow it.
Altudotis is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Brix reverses the position - he's now on top in Altudotis's guard.

Altudotis has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Brix should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Altudotis has tightened it up now! Brix should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
