The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanguin shoots in and drives through. Ioannidis sprawls well.

Solid is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Silva has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Solid is looking to defend but Silva has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Solid! Silva pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Solid taps out and this one is all over!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darius Badolato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arvo Pentti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Badolato comes to the cage accompanied by Nneka - Heartbeat. Pentti has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pentti takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Badolato misses the jab.
Badolato ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Badolato moves into range and connects with a jab.
An inside leg kick lands from Badolato.
Pentti swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Badolato looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Badolato closes the distance and clinches up with Pentti, looking for a takedown. Badolato pushes Pentti against the cage but Pentti circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Badolato seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Pentti wants to get back to his feet.
Badolato looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pentti with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Badolato wants to pass the guard but Pentti is keeping the position.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Pentti working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Pentti is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Badolato looking for a guillotine here but Pentti defends easily.

Pentti lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Badolato has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Badolato looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Pentti is defending well. Badolato quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Pentti has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Badolato celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
