Paul tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brown paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Paul connects with a body shot that sends Brown's belly button to the back.
Paul throws a leg kick which misses Brown's front leg but catches the back leg as Brown tries to avoid it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Paul has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Paul shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brown pinned against the cage. Brown gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ethan Paul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paul throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
