He arrived on a last minute flight shortly after looking tired and unhappy. Officials decided the fight should still take place, much to the delight of the fans in attendance.
Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wado Ryu and Aldrei Meira. Chooooooooon! I think Ryu might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to kalimba. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wesley stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wesley wants it to stay on the feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wesley darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Dzoko Dzoker has been cut.
Dzoker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Wesley dips to his left and cracks Dzoker with an uppercut!
Dzoker takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Wesley leaves Dzoker with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wesley cracks Dzoker with an uppercut from hell and Dzoker crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Wesley's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Nate Crook had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Nate Crook has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.
