The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sakushi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bruens keeps working.

Bruens has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sakushi is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sakushi is working for a kimura but Bruens is defending it quite comfortably.
Bruens felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

In his post fight interview, Takachi Sakushi started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
