The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moldoon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ishii is defended easily by Moldoon.

Ishii shoots in looking for a takedown. Moldoon tries to sprawl out of it but Ishii keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Moldoon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ishii changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moldoon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Moldoon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ishii on the ground.
Ishii works to advance to full mount. Moldoon defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Moldoon is in all sorts of trouble here.

Ishii has control of Moldoon's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Moldoon regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Smith lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wrestling has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wrestling and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A little feinted left hand from Quinn on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Quinn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Quinn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Quinn takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Watson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Watson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Quinn is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Watson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Quinn keeps working.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Watson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Quinn's shoulder. That is not cool.

Watson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Watson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Quinn is bucking up trying to escape but Watson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Poor strikes thrown by Watson there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Quinn takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Watson's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

In his post fight interview, Sean Watson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
