These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ragnar Kveldulfson!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kveldulfson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kveldulfson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kuklinski moves away from the strike by Kveldulfson.
Kveldulfson misses with a straight left.
Kuklinski attempts a counter takedown but Kveldulfson avoids it well and moves away.

Kuklinski is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kveldulfson is aware though and is defending well.

Kuklinski had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kveldulfson defends it easily.
Kuklinski wants to sweep here but Kveldulfson controlling him for the moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kuklinski is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kuklinski takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Richard Kuklinski has been cut.
Nice straight punches there by Kveldulfson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kveldulfson.
Kveldulfson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kveldulfson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kuklinski attempts a counter takedown but Kveldulfson avoids it well and moves away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kveldulfson.
Kveldulfson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Kveldulfson throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Kuklinski throws a looping overhand right but Kveldulfson ducks down to avoid it.

Kveldulfson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kuklinski to the mat! Kuklinski manages to get full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kveldulfson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kveldulfson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kuklinski is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kveldulfson rolls with it to try and escape but Kuklinski cranks on the arm and Kveldulfson is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
