The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okunaba thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Karl if he has to take too many more of those.
Karl takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Okunaba lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Karl down.
Okunaba looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Okunaba remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Okunaba is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Karl is trying to escape and Okunaba transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Karl is forced to tap! Nice work there by Okunaba! Very nice indeed!

Okkuke Jiizu Okunaba decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
