And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marius Wieneke!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutombo connects with a looping right hand.
Wieneke with a poor takedown
and Mutombo counters with a one-two to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mutombo, as that shot connected.
Mutombo lands with a good body shot.
Wieneke needs to keep his hands up - Mutombo had a free shot at his head there.

Wieneke is rocked!
Mutombo stuffs the takedown attempt from Wieneke. Wieneke gets slowly back to his feet.
Wieneke fails with the takedown.
Dikembe Mutombo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marius Wieneke.
Wieneke shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mutombo but Mutombo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wieneke looks winded!
Wieneke leaves his chin hanging out and Mutombo seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Wieneke crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

In his post fight interview, Dikembe Mutombo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dame was well out of range. Poor timing from Boy.
Dame uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boy.
Dame shoots for a double leg takedown but Boy sprawls well. He's pushed Dame's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Boy with a body punch. A glancing blow.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dame. Boy does a little dance to reset his feet.

Dame manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Boy on his heels. He'll look to pass Boy's guard now, I'm sure.
Dame wanted to stand there but Boy had control of the position.
Dame might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Boy moves in close and cracks Dame with a massive right hand! Dame, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Boy!

Horrible takedown attempt by Mouba or perhaps it was just good defense by Ysengrin, which made it look bad.
Ali Mouba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ysengrin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mouba sprawling to the canvas! Mouba rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ysengrin finish him?!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
