The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrews throws a looping overhand right but Russell ducks down to avoid it.
Russell tries to counter by clinching up but Andrews breaks away and moves out of range.
Russell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Andrews but Andrews pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Russell has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Andrews throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Andrews throws a head kick but Russell moves out of range.
Russell throws a nice inside leg kick.
Russell doesn't manage to clinch there - Andrews circles away.

Andrews shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Bibby tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Boone defends well and Bibby ends up having to push Boone into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
