The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov tries a low kick but Kowalski avoids it.
Magomedov throws a shot to the body.
Kowalski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Magomedov.
Kowalski appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Magomedov throws a leg kick but Kowalski sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Kowalski closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Michael Kowalski has been cut.
Magomedov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Magomedov dips to his left and cracks Kowalski with an uppercut!
Kowalski has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kowalski there as he acknowledges the shot.

Magomedov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kowalski sprawling to the canvas! Kowalski rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Magomedov finish him?!

Michael Kowalski's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kowalski walks straight into a right hand from Magomedov - that's dropped him! Magomedov jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kowalski from any more punishment! Kowalski complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Cole takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Cole turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Quinn ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

It looks like Rico Cole has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Quinn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Billy Quinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cole throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Quinn.
Quinn cracks Cole with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Cole falls to his knees and Quinn doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
