Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Burt Watson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasd closes the distance and clinches up with Watson, looking for a takedown. Rasd pushes Watson against the cage but Watson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Watson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Watson lands in his opponent's guard.
Watson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Watson lands a couple of elbows.
Watson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Watson tries to stand but Rasd is controlling from the bottom.

Rasd has his foot on Watson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Watson works his way back into a safe position though.

Watson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rasd swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Watson throws a strike but Rasd rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Rasd tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Watson closes the distance and clinches.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Watson pulls guard effortlessly.
Rasd wants to stand but Watson is controlling his posture from full guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Watson counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Rasd to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Watson!

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Murphy for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

It looks like Rock Man has been cut.
Man should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Murphy lands a right hand.

Man jumps guard but Murphy stands there with Man around his waist. Man gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Murphy lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Man drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Murphy throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mans head.
Murphy unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Man! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Murphy is unloading with more strikes now! Man drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ray is pressed against the cage. Hooligan pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Ray! Two more big strikes from Hooligan and Ray crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

Nerk takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nerk looks to clinch
and Slater makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Nerk moves to clinch but Slater breaks away
and Nerk takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Slater connects with a looping right hand.
Nerk tries to clinch up.
As Nerk backs off Slater throws a huge counter combo but Nerk manages to avoid it all.

Slater lands a big head kick that sends Nerk tumbling to the mat! Slater takes a step backwards and waves Nerk back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Nerk is rocked!

It looks like Wes Nerk has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nerk loses concentration momentarily and Slater pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Nerk crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Slater finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
