Hoover drops Silva with a beautiful combination! Silva stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hoover is looking for the KO!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hoover connects with a stiff jab that staggers Silva - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Spasov.
Alves went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Spasov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Alves throws a series of punches but Spasov avoids them all with ease.
Spasov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Alves sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Spasov somewhat.
Alves went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Ricardo Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mincho Spasov.
Alves swats away the attempt to clinch by Spasov.
Alves keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Typhaze has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Zarco thuds his right hand into Typhaze's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Typhaze throws a body shot but no joy.
Typhaze throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Zarco to counter with a crisp jab.
Typhaze throws a sloppy head kick and Zarco moves out of range easily.
