The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Balrog, as that shot connected.
Kowalchuck takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kowalchuck uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Balrog.
Kowalchuck feints the counter takedown.

Kowalchuck closes the distance and clinches.
Balrog doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Balrog has had enough of the clinch but Kowalchuck keeps him there for the moment.
Balrog can't break the clinch.
Kowalchuck drops down looking for an ankle pick but Balrog pulls his leg out and moves away.

and Balrog counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
