The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kunnas feints and then cracks Rivera's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rivera down.
Rivera has his takedown stuffed
and Kunnas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rivera tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kunnas swivels and escapes.

Rivera's coach down at Cheap Elites! Golden Eye Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rivera's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Silsa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
