Canthropus comes to the cage accompanied by Pizzaman - Trippin' On Sunshine. James Franks will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Canthropus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Franks manages to avoid it.
Franks tries to clinch but Canthropus is having none of it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Franks looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Franks tries to close the distance and clinch but Canthropus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pithe Canthropus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Franks wants to clinch up but Canthropus keeps it at a distance.

Yuudai lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kenta Yuudai.
