Jones is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Day flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Day is out cold! Jones holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luciano Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz misses with a takedown attempt - Ronson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ronson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cruz's waist but Cruz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ronson off to one side.
Ronson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cruz.

Cruz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ronson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ronson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cruz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cruz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ronson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Ronson is in close to Cruz's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Cruz looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Ronson is defending well. Cruz quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Ronson has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Cruz celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
