The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conlin tries to bum rush Uchiha with a series of wild strikes but Uchiha uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Conlin swings for the body but Uchiha moves out of range.
Uchiha shoots in but no luck this time.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Uchiha is defended easily by Conlin.
Uchiha shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Conlin sprawls well. Conlin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Uchiha gets slowly back to his feet.

It looks like Itachi Uchiha has been cut.
Uchiha shoots in looking for a takedown. Conlin tries to sprawl out of it but Uchiha keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Conlin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Conlin works the jab nicely.
Conlin lands a nice hook to Uchiha's body. Uchiha takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Conlin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Conlin wants it to stay on the feet.

Conlin sends Uchiha crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Conlin is motioning to the referee to let Uchiha up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Itachi Uchiha's cut is getting worse.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Conlin has cracked Uchiha with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Conlin lands another huge swinging hook and Uchiha tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Uchiha, before Conlin can land any more shots!
