Mann lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

St Pierre closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

St Pierre is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mann to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mann shrugs it off.

St Pierre is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mann has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mann!

St Pierre working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mann doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mann manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

St Pierre had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mann defends it easily.
Mann has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of St Pierre is proving hard to escape from.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

St Pierre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mann can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

St Pierre bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mann's guard.
St Pierre passes Mann's left leg - he's now in half guard.
