Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Brown working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Thompson turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Brown off and cradles Thompson's limp body as Brown celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Darren Brown!
An out of breath Darren Brown thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, Julian Thompson stepped up to the mic, saying 'Only god forgives, one day I will get my revenge.'.
