The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bartowski misses with a wild body shot.
Bones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bartowski paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bones throws a sloppy head kick and Bartowski moves out of range easily.
Bones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bartowski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bartowski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bartowski scores with a jab to the body.
Bones darts in trying to clinch
and Bartowski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Jim Bones has been cut.
Bones tries to move into range but Bartowski moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bones throws a head kick but Bartowski moves out of range.
Bones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bartowski is fending him off so far but Bones persists. Nope, Bartowski circles away and we're back to standing.

Danielson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Katona.
Katona throws a left and a right that both miss
and Danielson counters with a three punch combo that has Katona backing up. Katona nods at Danielson to acknowledge the strikes.

Danielson has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Golden Gym 14 Elite Coachs. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Katona is breathing heavily.
Danielson is pushing Katona's head away, looking to escape. Katona manages to hold on to the position though.
Katona misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Katona really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Katona has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Katona seems to have got his legs back now.

Katona is working to tighten his grip on Danielson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Danielson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Katona is really squeezing tight and eventually Danielson passes out! Katona breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Shlamel connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Fjornson! He's out on his feet! Shlamel rushes in and drops Fjornson with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Jones pounces like a tiger and cracks Stevenson with a vicious hook! Stevenson is down but not out! Jones follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

This has been an exciting period of action!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

After the fight, Tony Bullard was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Boss Howard was interviewed post fight and said 'well done to my opponent ....ima and Irish boy so don't think I'm down an out mate ..I'll be bak'.
