Mancine isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Al stacks Mancine on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Al!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ray Mancine.

With a record of 29 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brock Samson!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gravius misses with a low kick.
Samson's corner calls for a 1-2. Samson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Gravius slips a straight right by Samson.
Samson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Samson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gravius. Samson does a little dance to reset his feet.
A little jabbing left from Samson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Samson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gravius momentarily.
Samson throws a right hand that misses
and Gravius counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Brock Samson has been cut.
Gravius uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Samson.
Samson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Samson scores with a takedown into Gravius's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gravius looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Samson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gravius was well out of range. Poor timing from Samson.
Crunch! Gravius slams his shin into Samson's torso.

Samson dives in and grabs Gravius's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gravius pushes down on Samson's head and hops out.
Samson looks to throw the jab but Gravius is out of range.

A solid leg kick lands there for Gravius.

Brock Samson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gravius moves away from the strike by Samson.
Gravius tried to counter with a leg kick but Samson avoided it.

It appears Gravius was looking to counter with a kick there.

Gravius throws a solid leg kick but Samson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gravius.

Sellus Gravius is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gravius scores with a decent looking hook.
Samson throws a right hand that misses
and Gravius cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Samson misses with a left hand
and Gravius counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Samson off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Gravius follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Samson was out before he hit the floor.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Sellus Gravius!

In his post fight interview, Sellus Gravius started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
