Despite the aggression on Lei's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Lei throws a wild body kick that Thesz sees coming a mile off.

Lei is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
A big left from Thesz misses.
Lei has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Thesz is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Good leg kick by Thesz there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Lei replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Thesz blocks it well.

Thesz has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Lei should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Thesz has tightened it up now! Lei should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
