Vazquez lands a left and a right that send James crashing to the mat, dazed. Vazquez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
James doesn't manage to clinch there - Vazquez circles away.

Vazquez feinted with a counter takedown.
James tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Vazquez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Knight turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
John should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Knight feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Johns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Saint John has been cut.
Knight cracks John with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Knight circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops John to the canvas! John doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Knight keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Matthias enables Nizetic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Matthias manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Nizetic lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Nizetic has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Nizetic controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Matthias is trying to control the position but Nizetic postures up.
Nizetic forces his way into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Matthias has left one of his arms exposed and Nizetic doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Matthias screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Jan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Figueiredo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Figueiredo passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Jan!
Jan is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Figueiredo has taken his back.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Figueiredo slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Figueiredo is working for a rear naked choke. Jan is not defending it well and Figueiredo has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Jan refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Jan's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

It looks like Saint Faustina has been cut.
