Noodles's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Have a Dream. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackwell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Blackwell closes the distance and clinches up with Noodles, looking for a takedown. Blackwell pushes Noodles against the cage but Noodles circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Noodles looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Blackwell is fending him off so far but Noodles persists. Nope, Blackwell circles away and we're back to standing.
Noodles shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Blackwell defends it nicely.
Blackwell throws a push kick but Noodles slaps the foot to one side.
Noodles has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mello MMA in the buildup to the fight.

We've been informed that Blackwell has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Noodles shoots in looking for a takedown. Blackwell tries to sprawl out of it but Noodles keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blackwell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Blackwell is sitting in close to Noodles's body. Noodles has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Blackwell is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Blackwell is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Noodles.

Ramen Noodles really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Valhalla Fight Wear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
