Jarles blocks the body kick.

Jarles gets tackled into the cage by Dertli. Dertli maintains the clinch.
Dertli pushes Jarles back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Dertli pushes off an throws an elbow but Jarles leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Dertli tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dertli goes for a takedown attempt but Jarles pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jarles lands with a thumping leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dertli throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jarles tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dertli manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Jarles lands a left and a right that send Dertli crashing to the mat, dazed. Jarles thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Jarles fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Dertli to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Dertli looks to clinch but Jarles throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Dertli taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Bronson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bronson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Left hook, right uppercut from McShady.

It looks like Yule Bronson has been cut.
Bronson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
McShady shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bronson but Bronson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McShady fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McShady shoots for a double leg takedown but Bronson sprawls well. He's pushed McShady's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Yule Bronson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shifty McShady.

Bronson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

McShady goes for a double leg but Bronson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bronson continues to drive forward.

McShady throws a combination. Bronson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
McShady shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bronson sprawls well. Bronson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McShady gets slowly back to his feet.
McShady fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
McShady throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bronson on the side of the head.

McShady lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

McShady changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bronson tries to avoid it but McShady manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bronson to the ground. Bronson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McShady will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mason kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Darude - Sandstorm. Lynch has chosen Suffa by Hed Pe as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Loens closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Dew.
Loens has a couple of punches blocked by Dew.
Loens lands with a light punch inside.

Dew ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dew no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Loens wanted to stand there but Dew had control of the position.
Dew pulls Loens in close to prevent any damage.
Loens wants to stand but Dew is controlling his posture from full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dew tightens his grip and picks Loens up, before dumping him to the ground. Loens manages to land in guard.

Loens really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dew. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dew's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dew drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Dew seems to have locked his on tight now - Loens screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Dew, as he picks up the win!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Crown.
Horrible takedown attempt by Crown or perhaps it was just good defense by Kuli, which made it look bad.
Oliver Crown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Kuli as Crown shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oliver Crown. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kuli misses with a body shot.

Kuli throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Crown has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Texii pushes off an throws an elbow but Clegane leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Texii lands an elbow inside that Clegane shrugs off.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Texii has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
