A determined Noel Rose didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Billy Bob.

Gonzalez rushes Cabrillo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gonzalez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cabrillo walks away with a smile on his face. Gonzalez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Cabrillo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gonzalez in his tracks.
Gonzalez throws a lazy right hand but Cabrillo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gonzalez smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Gonzalez looks for a takedown but Cabrillo sprawls well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cabrillo slips a jab and a cross from Gonzalez.
Gonzalez walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Cabrillo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Nice straight punches there by Cabrillo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Cabrillo.

and Cabrillo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gonzalez throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cabrillo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gonzalez circles away quickly and effectively.
Gonzalez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gonzalez swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Cabrillo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Gonzalez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Cabrillo drives through with a takedown into Gonzalez's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Gonzalez has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cabrillo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gonzalez.
