Maximus lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Maximus throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Myrene is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Maximus dances in with a quick combination. Myrene is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Maximus snaps Myrene's head back. Myrene stumbles backwards against the cage. Maximus steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Myrene's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Myrene just didn't come prepared.

Grimm kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is David Gilmour - There's No Way Out Of Here. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sandoval's choice of entrance music: Overseer - Slayed. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Boon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boon's entrance music is American Ninja 2 OST - Truckin'. A fine choice. Rivers is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cyco Vision. Stan Rivers will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

With a record of 21 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kirk Boon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Stan Rivers!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rivers counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Boon is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Boon has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Boon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rivers circles away.
Boon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Rivers circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Boon drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Rivers follows Boon to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
