Undercard bout

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter McBain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chevy Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McBain might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Harder Than You Think by Public Enemy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

McBain will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nguyen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
McBain tries to bum rush Nguyen with a series of wild strikes but Nguyen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nguyen takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
McBain pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McBain throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nguyen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

McBain is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Nguyen gets his way!

Zhu kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Meet Gazoo. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Zhu.
Zhu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Zhu tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kalnoky shoots in for a double leg but Zhu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Both fighters circling a little - Zhu finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Zhu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kalnoky looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
