Rainaldi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Rainaldi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Django lands with a hook. Kulafu tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Django stuns Kulafu with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Django connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kulafu. Kulafu circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Kulafu looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Django!
Django takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Kulafu looks up at the clock and then as Django takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kulafu smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Kulafu is trying to move to mount but Django reverses beautifully and ends up in Kulafu's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kulafu drops back, looking for a kneebar! Django looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Django looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Django!
