The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wha bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wha moves into the clinch successfully.

Bourque is trying to break the clinch but Wha has him pressed against the cage.

Bourque's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Bourque breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Wha cracks Bourque with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bourque looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Wha finish him?
It looks like Timothy Bourque has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wha wants to clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from Bourque misses the target.
Wha throws the kick towards the body but Bourque avoids it.
Bourque swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Wha looks to land a combination but Bourque avoids it well.
Bourque gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Bourque tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Wha is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Bourque buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Bourque!! Bourque is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Wha throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
