Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sami Vasara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Manhoef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manhoef has chosen The Prodigy - Take Me To The Hospital as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Manhoef darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Sami Vasara has been cut.
Vasara displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Manhoef uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Vasara has time to react.

Manhoef cracks Vasara with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Vasara looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Manhoef finish him?

Vasara is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vasara doesn't manage to clinch there - Manhoef circles away.
Oh Vasara is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Manhoef connects with a body shot that sends Vasara's belly button to the back.
Manhoef's coach down at Morbid Conditioning, Trans, Esc School $1000 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Manhoef's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Vasara throws a body shot but no joy.

Finyard fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt DeBramalo.

We've been informed that DeBramalo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Finyard looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! DeBramalo has picked Finyard up and slammed him! Finyard can't keep hold of the triangle and DeBramalo manages to pass to side control!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Finyard has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. DeBramalo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Finyard.

Well DeBramalo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
