The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quirat slaps away a takedown attempt from Maer, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Quirat unleashes a big counter combination but Maer bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Quirat looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Maer tries for a takedown but Quirat sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A nice inside leg kick there by Maer. That's going to slow Quirat down.

Maer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Maer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

McLain uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bombs.
Bombs connects with a jab.
Bombs on the wrong end of a nice jab.
McLain scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bombs swings for the body but McLain moves out of range.
A little feinted left hand from McLain on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

McLain will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Chukwuma lands a nice looking body kick.
Chukwuma thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Brawl if he has to take too many more of those.
