The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong doesn't manage to clinch there - Petrenko circles away.
And Petrenko tries to counter it with a takedown but Wong pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Wong closes the distance but Petrenko moves to the side

and Petrenko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Petrenko slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Petrenko postures up in Wong's guard and throws a big left but Wong blocks it.
