The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dority bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ninja's head backwards.
Ninja shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dority pinned against the cage. Dority gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dority is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Ninja.
Dority is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No joy there for Dority, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It seemed like Ninja was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Ninja uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dority.

Tavares comes to the cage accompanied by Devour the Day - Get Out of My Way. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tavares lands a left and a right that send TupperIII crashing to the mat, dazed. Tavares thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

TupperIII is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
TupperIII switches off momentarily and Tavares cracks him with a monster right hand! TupperIII topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Tavares dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Tavares!

A very excited looking Henrique Tavares rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Carolla shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Buffet eats them both and turns towards Carolla to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

That was a close round but I would say that Jimmy Buffet will probably get the nod.
