and Brooks counters with a straight right hand.

Randy Richards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters circle momentarily. Brooks darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A head kick by Brooks - that's a beauty! Richards is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Brooks can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Henderson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Quliev - the referee stops the clock and Henderson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Quliev. Henderson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Quliev here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Oh Richter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
