Jackson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kruk throws a right hand that Jackson ducks under and follows up with a left that Jackson also avoids with ease.
Sloppy strikes from Jackson. Those never looked like landing.
Kruk lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively.

Jackson closes the distance and clinches.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jackson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Gonzales slaps away a takedown attempt from Kid, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gonzales is defended easily by Kid.
Kid is looking for a counter combo.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gonzales enables Kid to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gonzales manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Gonzales has eaten all the pies!

Gonzales escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kid gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gonzales is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kid frees his head nicely. Oh but Gonzales has switched to an armbar! Kid is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
