The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ross has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ross and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Dust has chosen Die for Metal as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Modnar looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
That kick from Modnar tenderised Dust's leg. Dust is trying to keep his angry face on.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dust has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Quaid feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Camas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Quaid moves out of range of the strikes.
Cama tries to work over Quaid's front leg with a kick but Quaid checks it.

Quaid drops his shoulder and cracks Cama with a huge uppercut! Cama goes down! Can Quaid finish him?

Cama seems to have got his legs back now.

Quaid stands up over Cama, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Quaid gets to his feet and stands over Cama, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Cama felt that one! Quaid unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Cama from any more punishment!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marailov looks to land a combination but Doofenshmirtz avoids it well.
Doofenshmirtz fails to land with a series of punches.
Marailov is looking for a counter combo.
Doofenshmirtz tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Marailov is able to avoid easily.
Marailov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Marailov drops Doofenshmirtz with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Doofenshmirtz looks back up at him and smiles so Marailov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Heinz Doofenshmirtz has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Doofenshmirtz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Doofenshmirtz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marailov.
Marailov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A left lands for Doofenshmirtz.
Doofenshmirtz throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Marailov takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Marailov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Doofenshmirtz.
Doofenshmirtz walks into a left hand.
Marailov avoids the head kick by Doofenshmirtz.
Doofenshmirtz misses with a kick to the body.
Gustav Marailov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marailov misses the shot to the body.
Despite the aggression on Doofenshmirtz's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Marailov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

A little feinted left hand from Marailov on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Marailov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Doofenshmirtz.
Marailov digs a good body shot into Doofenshmirtz's ribs.
Doofenshmirtz throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Marailov counters with a crisp right hand that drops Doofenshmirtz! Marailov lets Doofenshmirtz back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Doofenshmirtz misses the shot to the body.
An attempted straight right counter from Marailov misses the target.
Marailov circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Doofenshmirtz to the canvas! Doofenshmirtz doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Marailov keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
