McGoo blocks the body kick.
McGoo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tyzzkling sprawls well. Tyzzkling wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McGoo gets slowly back to his feet.

We've been hearing good reports from Tyzzkling's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Hume tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fistface swats him away and circles back towards the center.

It looks like Desmond Hume has been cut.
Hume displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fistface throws out the jab.
Fistface misses with a few strikes there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fistface, as that shot connected.
Hume moves out of range as Fistface strikes.

Hume drops his hands for a split second and Fistface immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Hume face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Fistface follows up with a right hand that knocks Hume into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

I was talking to Parker's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Caesar can't find room to land a body shot as Parker controls the action.
Caesar has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Parker after a bit of a struggle.
Parker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Caesar has him pressed against the cage.

Barnett uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Germanicus.
Barnett jabs Germanicus right on the nose. Germanicus blinks but takes it well.
Germanicus throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Barnett changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Germanicus looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've been hearing good reports from Barnett's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Josh Barnett.
